About museum

Slovak Agricultural Museum is situated in fairground Agrokomplex, entrance of Agrokomplex – gate B5, on street Dlhá 92 in Nitra.
Museum was founded in 1922 in Bratislava, in 1960 was moved to Nitra.
More than 20-thousand exhibits document development of Slovak agriculture.

  • Agricultural machines and Aviation
  • Fireman cars and equipment
  • Open-air museum of folk architecture – 33 objects (school, co-operative shop, mills, etc.)

Part of the museum is narrow-gauged Nitra´s field railway.

It drives during forthcoming events or to order. In service are 3 steam engines.
